Officially on the two week countdown!

We had our 35 week check up yesterday and the babies are doing great! Casey and I are so blessed and so thankful that they've made it this far with no complications. I'm so thankful that I've made it this far, too. Other than the "normal for twins" swelling I haven't had any problems. Even my blood pressure is great! Unfortunately the swelling is still a little more than my Dr would like so today marks my first day on bedrest until Laney and Madilyn are born.

Keep us all in your prayers...Laney and Madilyn that they continue to do as well as they have thus far and poor Casey for having to take care of everything by himself and having to put up with my "honey-do" list. There's still much to be done before they arrive!!

Just to catch you up...

Since this is my first post I figured I would catch everyone up on what's going on in our lives. Casey and I have just sold our first house as a married couple and have now moved in with my parents until we find something else. It's not exactly what you picture once you're married BUT it is definitely a huge help for us! It will be great once the girls are born because my mom will literally be right around the corner for help:) We've put an offer on another house but just aren't sure that we're going to get it. Of couse, after no one makes any offers in 6 months they get two in a matter of a few weeks! Now we just have to see who offers more $$. Casey and I aren't holding our breath that it will be us!

Laney and Madilyn are less than 4 weeks away from making their debut and I have no idea how I'll ever have things ready for them. So far they seem to be healthy girls and if I make it to 37 weeks they should break the 6lb marker! That's great for them but that's a lot of baby to carry around! I literally feel like I'm going to bust sometimes (and I look like it, too)!

I hope to have a few pictures up soon but between unpacking/organizing, washing baby clothes, writing thank you notes and all the other things I seem to need to do I'm not sure when I'll get around to it!
